Alien Cord Winders conveniently store cordage then easily dispense just the length you need. No more rewrapping a hank of cord after cutting off a length. Store cord at home or take a little extra on a Cord Winder in your backpack or bugout bag.
Cord Winders are made of polyolefin with a stiffer flat base and a flexible domed cover. Unfold the cover to wrap the cord around the spool. Fold the cover back down to trap the cord under the cover. The cord end can be tucked inside for storage and pulled out to dispense. Just put your thumb and index finger together through the center hole as an axle and pull the end of the cord to dispense exactly the length you need while the rest stays on the spool.
Cord Winders are available in three sizes. The best size depends on the cord diameter and length you want to hold. Small diameter cord (1-1.5 mm), such as ultralight guyline, works best with the small size, but use medium for longer lengths. Medium diameter cord (1.5-2.5 mm), such as hammock line, works best with size medium, but use the large if you want to hold more cord. Use the large size for larger diameter cord (2-4 mm), such as 550 paracord, or longer lengths of smaller diameter cord.

Neat & Compact
The Small, wrapped kevlar thread and a curved needle and made a perfect sewing kit. The Large holds just enough for spare guy lines. Keeps organized and Neat and easy to locate.

Best line-cord solution I've found
Was making my own corrugated cards to store line. These are lighter and able to mount to a drill for winding at home. They butterfly open for field winding. Better than baby shampoo... no more tangles. Love them.

Clever product
I purchased all three sizes. A very clever and convenient way to carry cordage. Small one is perfect for sewing thread, fishing line, and similar sized cordage. Shipping cost makes this product very affordable :-)
