Windmaster is widely considered the best all-around canister stove. This award-winning design features a micro regulator, a wind-resistant burner, and a reliable igniter for strong performance in all conditions. It offers tons of versatility with minimal tradeoffs.
Three strong features provide its namesake. The pot sits close to the flame, restricting the space for wind to interfere. A high-lipped edge around the burner acts as a windscreen. And the concave shape of the burner protects the flame from the wind and creates a strong focused flame. A reliable stealth igniter runs inside the post and burner for increased simplicity and improved ignition.
Windmaster is more fuel efficient than many of the lightest options out there, but lighter than the most fuel efficient. It boils 2 cups of water in under 2.5 minutes, even in strong winds and gusty weather. A micro regulator mitigates the pressure drop in fuel canisters after each use. The flame remains strong with nearly spent canisters or in cold conditions. You get exceptional fuel efficiency across a wide range of conditions.
The 4Flex wide four-prong pot support offers stable support even for larger pots. This stove is unique in that the pot support is detachable via a spring-loaded clip. Simply squeeze two of the pot supports to open up, slide onto the burner head, and release. For storage, remove, fold up, and nest next to the stove. The folding design is a thing of beauty.
